Our Philanthropic Responsibility to Support Patient-Focused Organizations

ÐǺ£ÆåÅÆ is committed to supporting philanthropic health-related initiatives.

At ÐǺ£ÆåÅÆ, through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, we focus on supporting philanthropic health-related initiatives, particularly for oncology patients and their families. By engaging our employees and leveraging our expertise, we aim to make a meaningful impact on society. In addition to our Patient Advocacy efforts, below are a few of our philanthropic initiatives designed to impact patients and their families.

Creating Comfort at Ronald McDonald House Charities

For ÐǺ£ÆåÅÆ’s Global Volunteer Day 2024, we hosted volunteer events at the local Ronald McDonald Houses in four of our site countries. Team members embraced diverse roles, including serving nutritious meals for families, designing vibrant play spaces for children, and assisting with housekeeping to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for families staying in the home. Our efforts helped to create a supportive and homelike atmosphere for those in need.

Joining Forces with the Danish Cancer Society

ÐǺ£ÆåÅÆ is a proud sponsor of the annual Danish Cancer Society’s and Danish TV2’s fundraising campaign, Knæk Cancer. Translated as Crack, Break or Beat Cancer, the campaign raises critical funds to facilitate pioneering research, impactful prevention programs, and comprehensive patient support. Our sponsorship helps to fuel advancements and provide hope for countless individuals affected by cancer.

Bringing Joy to Prinses Maxima Centrum

Located in Utrecht, the Netherlands, ÐǺ£ÆåÅÆ supports the Prinses Maxima Centrum and their mission to improve the quality of life for pediatric patients. ÐǺ£ÆåÅÆ has proudly supported their Music in the Maxima program, which offers music lessons to patients and their siblings, thereby boosting family morale and harmonizing their hospital experience. Additionally, we’ve backed their Maximal Movement program, encouraging exercise to enhance recovery and well-being among young patients.

Supporting Resilience with the American Cancer Society

In our efforts to support patients and their families, ÐǺ£ÆåÅÆ lends a hand to the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge Program. This program provides free housing during treatment for cancer patients and their care partners across the United States, alleviating the financial burden and allowing families to focus on healing and recovery in a supportive community.

Empowering Families Through Family Reach

We support Family Reach – a nonprofit that offers non-medical financial support to families facing cancer. Our funding is channeled into their Clinical Trials Access Program, providing financial assistance to patients who encounter barriers to participating in clinical trials. By easing these financial obstacles, patients may access potential life-saving treatments and advancements in cancer care.
